What is a Sink Strainer?
November 09, 2022
A kitchen sink strainer is a metal sieve that sits in the drain of the kitchen sink to keep food scraps or trash out of the pipe and simply to lift them out of the drain and into the trash can. Sink strainer come in different types, but they all have the same function: keeping the kitchen drain open.
1.Back nut strainer
The back nut strainer is attached to a back nut, making it simple to install and maintain. You can also easily turn it on both sides to get rid of any stuck debris.
2.Flange strainer
As one of the efficient sink strainer, the flange strainer can also stop water and debris by simply pressing a nut to activate an undercover rubber rim.
3.Drain strainer
Drainage filters are characterized by very small holes, and this strainer type is the best choice to avoid clogging (even the slightest clogging).
4.Level strainer
This is one of the simplest strainers you’ll come across. It uses no special mechanisms to keep debris out of kitchen drainage systems – all it uses is a simple rubber sieve.
5.Double cup strainer
The double cup strainer offers the same level of anti-clogging as drain strainers. In addition, it features a back nut and two strainer cups that make it difficult for any large debris to pass through. Because of its ergonomic design, this model is easy to install, adjust, and clean.
