Care and Cleaning of Stainless Steel Sinks

    Stainless steel needs to be cleaned regularly for aesthetic considerations and to preserve corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is easy to keep clean with these simple sink cleaning tips.
    Since most soaps and detergents contain chloride, we recommend flushing the stainless steel sink after each use.
    First, combine a simple daily treatment with a weekly cleaning using a soft abrasive cleaner. Use these cleaners with warm water, a sponge, or a clean cloth  to scrub the surface of the sink. It's worth noting that be sure to scrub in the direction of the polishing line so that your efforts blend in with the surface of the sink.
    Since most soaps and detergents contain chloride, once cleaning is complete, rinse the surface immediately to prevent corrosion. Rinsing in clean hot water makes stainless steel shiny and sterile. All preparations for next use should avoid using a plain carbon steel brush or steel wool, as iron particles left behind can cause rust and corrosion.
    Finally, it is recommended to wipe the surface thoroughly with a clean dry towel so that the water does not evaporate and leave water stains. When wiping surfaces, avoid using oily rags or oily fabrics. Dry your sink regularly to prevent water and surface rust.Apron Sink
